Read the letter from Obed Douglas to Gov. Wike and Amb Odili Below
As the threats from unknown persons in ONELGA continue, I humbly call on Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and the council chairman of the area to come to my help.
Since May 29th till date, I have received three threatening messages from unknown persons. For about four years now, I have been promoting the image of ONELGA and the PDP but all I get in return is attacks. I'm only doing my work as a media man but some persons see me as a threat for reasons best known to them. Security agencies are aware of this and are on the trail.
Let them and whoever that is sponsoring them know that even if I don't know them, God the maker of
heaven and earth who is fighting my battle for me knows them all and they must pay for their actions.
heaven and earth who is fighting my battle for me knows them all and they must pay for their actions.
God is perfecting His plans for me. And this is a promise!
I have not used my pen to incite violence in ONELGA but only preach peace. I have not killed
anybody in my life and never conspired to kill anyone. So the efforts of those conspiring against me
will end in futility. God is watching!

Not satisfied with their threats, four days ago, my nephew who is staying with me received a message
that he should come to Tropicana hotel in Ahoada for urgent reasons. The boy proceeded to the hotel
because he saw my name at the end of the write-up. He spent a lot of time waiting, but that same God
that is protecting me shielded him from the evil hands of the unknown persons who had in one of
their threats sent the following message :

Again, I ask the soul-searching question: why are they fighting an innocent man for nothing?
I feel enough is enough, and implore the governor and council boss, as well as security agencies in the state and LGA, to spare no effort in urgently addressing the development.
