Multiple sources have sighted the heavy presence of different Police formations and operatives of the NSCDC at Eneka, Eliozu and Tank junctions in Port Harcourt.
Eyewitnesses told City News the cops have been on ground since Sunday evening.
The Rivers State Police Spokesman, SP Nnamdi Omoni could not be reached to provide information on the development as at press time.
But some other sources within the command told our correspondent that the heavy security presence may be connected with alleged plans by some Biafra agitators to organize a rally today in Port Harcourt.
