A 17-year-old girl, Chinazor Mercy on Sunday allegedly stabbed her 14 years old brother to death due to his refusal share sugarcane with her, sources have informed City News.
The incident according to sources happened at their family compound at Ogbogu community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
An eyewitness told City News that her father attempted to stop her when she started chasing her brother with a knife but she allegedly bit him.
"The boy started crying and telling the sister you have killed me. And blood was flowing," the eyewitness recounted.
Our source said the girl ran away from the community after seeing the outcome of her action. It is not certain if she has been found at the time of filing this report.
The boy has reportedly been buried.
