A Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded one Alfred Chikere, a 38 years old man in prison custody for allegedly eloping with a 12-year-old girl for about a month.
The court also sent the 12-year-old girl to the Port Harcourt Remand Home for telling testifying that she eloped with the man for one month because she enjoys sex.
The girl, according to our correspondent, had also told the court that the said Chikere was not her first boyfriend.
A source said the girls mother had allegedly collected N40k for an out of court settlement.
