RECESSION WON'T STOP DEVELOPMENT IN RIVERS STATE

Gov.  Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has made it known that the current economic recession in the country will not halt  development in the state because the state is special in God’s agenda. Speaking at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, during the “Connected in Rivers” special crusade of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry hosted by Pastor William Kumuyi, Governor Wike said:

“I know we have a problem in the country. But I can tell you that Rivers State will not see that problem. This state is a special state for God. “Let me tell our father in the Lord, since your last crusade, many things have improved in the state. As governor, I have first hand information on these improvements.”
“We require the prayers of our spiritual fathers like Pastor Kumuyi. With prayers, Rivers State will continue to see peace and development,”
“Every member of the State Executive Council, every political appointee has no choice but to participate in this programme,”

The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Kumuyi proclaimed that God’s grace and blessing are resting on Rivers State. He said that the programme will make Rivers the state of the people’s dreams and desires.
