Today while addressing protesters at the state Police Hqrs, demanding their deployment from Rivers state, Gov. Nyesom Wike demanded that ACP Staven Hasso and SARS Cdr. Akin Fakorade must leave the Rivers State for the interest of the state".
In his speech he said
The Rivers State Police command, particularly two of your senior police officers, Akin Fakorede & Steven Hasso who instead of being professional police officers they have turned to political thugs and politicians, they manhandled and maimed our people and also aided Rotimi Amaechi in the disenfranchisement of our people through rigging. We have come to tell the Nigeria Police that "Enough Is Enough" and we demand with immediate effect that Akin Fakorede and Steven Hasso be made to leave our state, if they don't leave this state, then we would do all we can to make them leave this state since they have left their no 1 assignment of protecting lives and properties.
