I join the Leadership of the Andoni youth coalition to condemn the killing of two Andoni sons, Cmr #Amini Atausen (My Uncle) and Cmr Emmanuel Jackson in their home town, Egendem community at about 9pm on the 26th Feb 2017 by unknown gunmen.
How long shall we continue killing one another? The future of Obolo lies in the hands of the youths, but how can we protect Obolo when we keep killing each other over insensitive issues? How long will our Obolo leaders and the state government neglect Andoni Youths?
I employ all youths to embrace peace and shun violence, with unity we can progress, but we will fall if we are divided.
Finally I want to call on the Executive Governor and Chief Security Officer of Rivers State, His Excellency, Chf. Bar. Nyesom Wike, The Speaker RSHA, Rt. Hon. Ikunyi Ibani, Hon. Ikoawaji Abiante, Uche Secondus, Andoni LGA CTC Chairman and all other well meaning Andoni leaders to ensure security is beefed up in the area, we cannot afford to allow this kind of taboo to repeat itself in Andoni lands. Security operatives should also investigate the killings of these young ones and try to bring the culprits to book.
