ONELGA NEWS UPDATE: CHINDA HAILS ONELGA CHAIRMAN FOR RETURN OF PEACE IN OMOKU


The Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on amnesty, Sir Ken Chinda has called on youths in Omoku to join forces with the state gaovernment to regain its economic relevance.
Chinda, who made the plea at a peace reconciliation in Omoku commended the CTC Chairman of ONELGA, Barr. Osi Olisa for restoring peace in the area.

At the gathering, all the youth leaders who spoke promised to give unflinching support to the peace process as a demonstration of unity and oneness among them. Some of them also urged government to be sincere by implimenting the second phase of the amnesty programme and create job opportunity for the jorrbless.
Meanwhile, in a press conference, the CSO of the Council and Omoku youth president, Comrade Kingsley Ogwumike said,
 "let us have it in the deepest part of our hearts that the responsibility we owe ourselves is to create an enabling environment where investors can come in and business thrives. There will be free flow of employment for our youths".
Report from Omoku has it that peace has finally returned to the area following the peace reconciliation convened by Barr. Olisa.
