As Dakuku Peterside returns to take charge of his home front in Opobo, today, 06/04/70, in alliance with the Free Rivers Development Initiative, FRDI, in a planned reception for the Minister for Transport, Chibuike Amaechi; on the other hand, Gov Wike of Rivers State is said to have chosen the same day to hold a meeting with Opobo Chiefs and people in Government House, Port Harcourt.
It is alleged that the governor has threatened to withdraw the Certificate of Recognition for any government recognized Chief who attends the Free Rivers program in Opobo/Nkoro.
Proofs of this allegation are yet to surface.
