A female student of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide after a love affair turned sour.
The student whose name was revealed was said to have drank a sachet of the bleaching liquid, hypo, on Thursday morning after her boyfriend decided to end their love affair.
Sources said the 23-year-old suicidal girl was immediately taken to the hospital where the liquid was neutralized, adding that she is in stable condition.
When spoken to, her ex that he made his choice to end the relationship, adding that it was not his fault that she decided to commit suicide
