It’s been several months since the election of Gov. Nyesom Wike as Governor of Rivers State and the state is yet know its Commissioners.
It has always been a norm since the democratic era of the state that commissioners are announced a few weeks after the election and swearing in of the state Governor; but that has so far not been the case in this second tenure of of the serving Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
This situation has left citizens of the state confused and they are asking “why don’t we have commissioners”
While others are still confused about the issue, others have concluded that That Governor has refused to appoint Commissioners because of his own selfish reasons, and has gone ahead to start and handle several contracts by himself as well as sealing several deals without the help of key officials in the state.
It’s no news that Gov. Wike has been nicknamed “Mr Projects” because of the several projects he’s been carrying out but citizens of the state have been grumbling saying “Mr Projects , Mr Projects, Na for him pocket “( all the projects he’s been carrying out are allegedly for his own selfish reason)
