UPDATE: Covid 19 Hardship Led us to Kidnap Ereba - Suspects





Two members of the gang that abducted the late Dinabari Ereba whose decomposing corpse was recovered earlier today has blamed their action on hunger and hardship occasioned by the Corona virus pandemic.
25-year-old Osundu Uchendu and 23-year-old Amebulem Amos made the assertion to newsmen shortly after leading operatives of the Rivers State Police Command to Alesa Forest where Ereba was held.

Ereba a businessman, ran a purewater factory in Port Harcourt.

The suspects revealed that the deceased died five days after his family paid a ransom of one million naira.

The suspects were arrested while trying to change the color of the deceased's car, a Toyota Spider.
