After weeks of protests both online and on the streets by some youths and leaders over the terrible state of Chokocho junction and other major roads in Etche Local Government Area, the Rivers State Government has given heed to their outcry.
City News gathered the state government on Wednesday mobilized a contractor to fix the terribly bad spots at Chokocho junction.
Sources say there are also plans to flag-off the construction and dualization of Etche-Chokocho to Okpala road anytime soon.
It does seem their spirited clamour is finally paying off.
