The Oba ( Eze-Ogba ) of Ogba land and former Chairman Rivers state council of Traditional Rulers , His Eminence, Sir (Dr) Chukwumela Nnam Obi 11 OON JP is dead.
He died on Thursday evening (April 29, 2021) at the age of 80.
He was born on 20th November, 1942.
He had his First School Leaving Certificate FSLC in 1959 from Methodist School Sabongari Kano. He obtained his WASC from Sancta Maria High School Omoku in 1966.
After his secondary education, he took a job at an Oil Servicing Company and later the State Civil Service between 1967 and 1970 before he was Crowned the Oba.
He was the First Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Federal University of Technology Owerri between 1980-1984. He was also the Chancellor, Federal University of Technology Akure between 1992-1996.
He married four wives and had about 15 children
