Wike Rewards Rivers United Players and Officials With $20,000 Each and 2 weeks trip to Madrid

Rivers State Executive Governor, His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS Africa has rewarded players and officials of Rivers United with a sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) each for emerging winners in the concluded NPFL season,

At a grand reception ceremony at Government House, Port Harcourt, Wike also conferred on each member of the team the Governors Medal Service Award (GMSA).

To ensure that the team win the continental trophy next year, Governor Wike approved an European pre season camping for Rivers United, mentioning specifically Madrid, Spain as their camping site.
