APC NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES ASKS PAM TO EXCUSE HIMSELF FROM PDP SUIT AGAINST APC

APC National Assembly Candidates in Rivers state are asking Justice Stephen Pam to excuse himself from the suit filed by the People’s Democratic Party against the APC.

PDP had dragged the All Progressive Congress to court alleging that the party did not conduct its primaries in line with INEC’s guidelines.

At a media briefing in Port Harcourt, one of the candidates, Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi said they are not comfortable with Justice PAM handling the matter.

Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi alleged that Justice Stephen Pam will not be fair in his judgement on the grounds of his relationship with Governor Nyesom Wike and the PDP.

He added that the APC candidates will resist every attempt by Justice Stephen Pam to handle the matter.

Our reporter Favour Zimoni reports that eleven candidates of the APC signed the communique.
