UPDATE: SPECIAL ADVISER AT PHYSICAL PLANNING/URBAN DEVELOPMENT CHIMUENYA HENRY UMEJURU RESIGNS

 


Mr. Henry Chimuenya Umejuru, who served as the Special Adviser on Business Strategy to the Honourable Commissioner of Physical Planning and Urban Development in Rivers State, has officially resigned from his position, effective August 1, 2024.


In his resignation letter dated August 1, 2024, addressed to the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Umejuru explained that his decision to resign was carefully considered and driven by a desire to seek new challenges and opportunities for career advancement.


He expressed gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner and the Ministry team for their support, guidance, and camaraderie, wishing them continued success in their work towards developing and planning Rivers State.



Appointed on October 27, 2023, Mr. Umejuru served for nine months, making significant contributions to the Ministry's business strategy and growth initiatives.


In response to his resignation, the Ministry, represented by Amb Igwe Francis Whyte, the Commissioner's media aide, praised Mr. Umejuru for his dedication and wished him well in his future endeavors. They acknowledged his contributions and expressed confidence in his future success.
