Breaking News: Supreme Court discards lawsuit seeking Tinubu's removal over drug and CIA allegations.

The Supreme Court has dismissed a lawsuit seeking the removal of President Bola Tinubu from office. The lawsuit, filed by Ambrose Owuru of the Hope Democratic Party, alleged Tinubu's involvement with the CIA and drug-related issues.

In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court ruled the suit frivolous and fined Owuru N5 million. The court also warned against accepting similar originating summons from the plaintiff.

Owuru's legal action claimed Tinubu's CIA affiliation made him unfit for office. He also alleged Tinubu forfeited $460,000 in a drug-related case. The court rejected these claims.

Owuru, whose party is de-registered, previously filed a suit to stop Tinubu's inauguration and claimed to have won the 2019 election. He accused INEC of manipulating the election in Buhari's favor. However, the court dismissed these claims as well.

The court upheld Tinubu's presidency and rejected Owuru's bid for the presidency.
