A former Chairman of Emohua LGA and PDP chieftain, Chukwuemeka Woke, has criticized Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his recent comments about past administration projects.
Fubara, during project launches in Ahoada and Etche, mocked certain projects initiated by his predecessors. This didn't sit well with Woke, who also heads NOSDRA.
Woke took particular issue with Fubara's dismissal of a road in Omuma LGA as a "farm road leading nowhere." In a statement, he questioned the Governor's logic: "How can you belittle infrastructure that connects farmers to markets while simultaneously promising new road contracts? This is hypocrisy."
The PDP chieftain further highlighted Fubara's statement about potentially neglecting projects in Obio Akpor LGA. Woke argued that such a sentiment reveals a "sinister nature" and a lack of appreciation for the groundwork laid by previous administrations. He concluded by emphasizing the need for mature leadership.
