The Origin: The 40-foot container (numbered MRSU3199206) originated from the United States.
The Contents: Inside were 606 cartons of Ibuprofen capsules, 173 cartons of Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets, 266 cartons of Subvenite (Lamotrigine) tablets, 103 cartons of Lansoprazole delayed-release capsules, and various other expired medicaments.
The Threat: Experts warned that if these expired products had slipped past security and infiltrated local markets, they could have caused severe health complications, including treatment failures, acute drug toxicity, worsening medical conditions, and fatal consequences.
