- Mr. Tony Odili popularly known as "Papa Tony" was a member of the defunct Late Erekosima Cardinal (Rex Jim) Lawson Mayor's Band and he hails from Delta State,Nigeria.
He played the KONGA behind all Rex Lawson's Records. - Papa Tony, as he is popularly called was born on the 3rd of January,1928 and to the Glory of God,he is the only surviving Member of the Mayor's Band as he even survived a fatal accident that took the life of his colleague Erekosima (Rex Jim) Lawson on the 16th Day of January,1971.
On this Great Day, we celebrate "A LIVING LEGEND" as we mark his Ninetieth (90th) year of earthly existence.
