“PLEASE REMOVE US FROM YOUR STREET TRADERS LIST” NEWS PAPER VENDORS BEG GOV. WIKE

Newspaper vendors in Port Harcourt have begged Gov. Wike to please have mercy on them and not chase them away during the evacuation of street traders tomorrow.

They said this during their visit to Government House.

Their Vice President Mr Friday Chimaobi mentioned that the roadside is the only place that newspapers can be sold easily as passersby can scan through papers while on a move.

He even mentioned that some bags of newspapers have been previously seized from them and kept in Mini Okoro and Kala Police Stations.
