The management of University of Port Harcourt has appointed Kunle Sofolabo ( Aka sir K), as new Dean of Student affairs on Thursday.
In June, Dr Otu Ekpenyong from the Department of sociology, who served for two tenures rounded off his service and an acting DSA, and Dr Gift Worlu a lecturer from the Department of Management science, Faculty of Management science was appointed to serve in an acting capacity.
Kunle Sofolabo was appointed by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Okodudu on Thursday, 20th of August.
Until his appointment he was a lecturer at the department of physics, Faculty of science.
He is expected to resume office on the 24th of August, 2020.
