Court allows De Villa to settle with his clients after he said he now has lands to settle them





There now appears to be some array of hope for the more than 200 clients of De Villa Kelly Nwogu if he fulfills the promise he made in court on Thursday when the case came up for proper trial. 
Through his lawyer, Prince Chika, owner of De Villa, Kelly Nwogu said he has over 300 plots of land to redeem the payment made by the customers who dragged him to court for refund of their money. 

Justice Hillary Oshomah after listening to the information from the lawyer to Nwogu, softly granted an out of court settlement prayers pending the fulfillment of the promises made.

Justice Oshomah who however adjourned the matter to 9th of December for briefing from the parties threatened that if the promise made by the defendant is not met, he would continue with the proper trial of the case by which time he may not listen to the motion moved. 



He accepted to grant the request of the Kelly Nwogu's lawyer because the prosecution team did not oppose the out of court settlement move by the defendant. Though the lawyer to the nominal complainants—- the clients of Kelly Nwogu said he has more than ten witnesses to present in court if the case had moved on as planned today.
