Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has warned criminals operating in the Ahoada axis of Rivers State to embrace change and retrace their steps; otherwise, face the full wrath of the law.
Governor Wike who gave the warning during the flag-off of construction works at the Ahoada Campus of the Rivers State University, and the dualization of Ahoada-Omoku Road in Ahoada Town on Tuesday, also warned his supporters who have been linked with criminal activities to stop following him and withdraw their support as he does not need their patronage.
“All of you criminals who are here today, 2nd June 2021, repent. If you do not repent, the period has come. You will die. Your parents will not bury you. We will bury you like vulture. Either your head will be cut off or they will blow off your head. Your parents will not even know that you are dead.”
“They will say their son went to look for money. Which money? We won’t tell them because no armed robber has parents.
“No killer will go free. So, all of you looking at me as if you are my supporters, carrry your support and go,” he said
Wike also warned one Komasi, a suspected cult leader allegedly terrorising Ahoada and its environs, to note that he cannot continue to kill people and go unpunished because time is up for him.

Wike on Wednesday while reading the riot act to suspected criminals operating in the area warned that the state security apparatus will soon descend on them.
He advised them to commit their time instead to endeavours that will foster development in the area.
