Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has recently undergone a series of surgeries due to his critical illness. Unfortunately, one of his legs had to be amputated in order to save his life.
His family expressed their gratitude towards Nigerians for their financial support during this challenging time. They acknowledged that only the grace of God can adequately thank everyone for their assistance.
Despite the difficult decision to amputate his leg, the family accepted it as a necessary step to ensure his survival. They continue to appeal for support from well-meaning Nigerians, as Mr Ibu's recovery process remains delicate.
The Okafor family appreciates the kindness and generosity shown, and Mr Ibu plans to personally acknowledge all those who supported him once he is in a stable condition.
