PORT HARCOURT, Rivers State – The recent Supreme Court ruling regarding the 2024 Rivers State budget is no longer relevant, according to Information Commissioner Joe Johnson.
Speaking in an interview, Commissioner Johnson explained that the ruling came after the budget cycle had already concluded. He further stated that the appeal, which Governor Fubara had voluntarily withdrawn, was therefore rendered moot by the passage of time.
