Port Harcourt is buzzing as delegates from across Nigeria land in the Garden City for the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) 2025 Annual General Assembly.
Key stakeholders, club representatives, and football administrators touched down at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, ahead of the two-day event scheduled to hold at the prestigious Hotel Presidential.
The AGM, themed "Strengthening the Future of Women’s Football in Nigeria," will feature critical discussions on league restructuring, player welfare, sponsorship drives, and grassroots development.
NWFL Chairperson, Nkechi Obi, welcomed the early arrivals, stating: "Port Harcourt remains a proud home of Nigerian football. This Assembly will set the tone for a more competitive and sustainable women’s league."
