PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA The tactical security operations along the Rivers State waterways achieved a major breakthrough this morning, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, as personnel from the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) PATHFINDER completely dismantled an illegal fuel transportation network.
According to a formal security update released early this morning by Navy Captain Abiodun Folorunsho under Operation DELTA SENTINEL, operatives intercepted a wooden boat hauling over 72,000 litres of suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) packed in industrial sacks around the Abonema axis in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area.
