In a major development at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the Federal Government and the Rivers State Government signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Renewed Hope Cultural Project.
The partnership agreement signed by the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, and the Permanent Secretary of the Rivers State Ministry of Culture, Ishmael Tomonialadeokuma is designed to unlock economic diversification, create jobs, and scale up the country's creative industry footprint across sub-nationals.

The Oyorokoto Beach Resort Push: Reaffirming his administration's focus on unlocking rural and coastal potential, Governor Siminalayi Fubara emphasized the accelerated development of the Oyorokoto Beach Resort project in Andoni Local Government Area. Tied directly to the Ngo-Atlantic-Oyorokoto Road project, the area has recently drawn massive internet traction for its unique coastal scenery and rich wildlife habitats (including elephants and lions spotted along the axis).
Tangible Delivery in 4 Months: Governor Fubara didn't mince words about the state's timeline, assuring stakeholders that his administration will move past paperwork to deliver visible, concrete results within the next four months.

Unveiling: Highlighting ongoing efforts to diversify the local economy, the governor noted that infrastructure is about more than just roads and bridges it is about building an active hospitality and entertainment ecosystem. He pointed to the ongoing construction of the new Rivers Tourist Beach project in partnership with Landmark, with the first phase slated to open for public use this December.
