Governor Wike appoints three Special Assistants





Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has approved the appointment of Chibuike Godson Ogbunehu, Chimeka Nmerukini and Alfred Bamson as Special Assistants to the governor. 



Their appointments take immediate effect.

The three appointees are to report for a meeting with the Rivers State Governor on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 by 11am at the Government House Port Harcourt.

Meanwhile, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that he will propose an amendment to the Rivers State Neighbourhood Safety Corps Agency if the police goes ahead to reject the recruitment of certain operatives of the Neighbourhood Safety Corps Agency on the basis of petitions by opposition elements in the state.

The governor said that the amendment will only be proposed when the police toes a partisan line in her consideration of the vetting of recruited operatives of the Neighbourhood Safety Corps Agency.
