President Buhari expressed his confidence in leaving Nigeria under the capable leadership of his successor, President-elect Bola Tinubu, stating that he is content knowing that Tinubu will continue to enhance the public-private partnership policies framework to expedite the country's economic growth and development.
During a gathering in Lagos state on May 22, Buhari stated,
"I am content that our economy is in expert hands. I believe that His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my successor, will keep up the progress we have made in our economic and business environment."
