Heartbreaking news coming out of Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area. Two police officers have been confirmed killed, and another severely injured, following a violent attack by suspected gunmen at a checkpoint on Monday night.
The officers were reportedly conducting routine stop-and-search duties when attackers opened fire on them before fleeing the scene.

Eyewitness Accounts: Local sources claim the attackers had allegedly carried out a robbery nearby just before launching the deadly assault on the checkpoint.
