There is no hiding place for criminals as the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, takes security monitoring to the next level!
In a powerful move to tighten security along our state corridors, CP Adepoju conducted an extensive operational monitoring exercise today, supervising police personnel deployed along the Ogoni Road corridor all the way to the Rivers-Akwa Ibom boundary.
At the border, he was joined by the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Baba Azare. Together, both top cops locked hands and reaffirmed a massive commitment to strengthening inter-state collaboration against criminality!
Key Highlights of the Operation:
Continuous Supervision: CP Adepoju emphasized that these physical check-ins will be continuous to guarantee maximum efficiency, discipline, and maximum police visibility on our roads.
Total Lockout: This joint initiative is specifically designed to deny criminal elements any breathing room or hiding space between Rivers and Akwa Ibom States.
Proactive Policing: The goal is to heavily reinforce the safety and confidence of commuters, traders, and residents using these critical routes.
CP Adepoju is appealing to everyone to remain vigilant and support the police by sharing timely and credible info on any suspicious activities.
Kudos to our security heads for taking proactive steps to keep our borders secure!
