HON. FUBARA MACAULAY FUBARA TAKES DOOR-TO-DOOR CAMPAIGN TO IKURU TOWN:

- promises to remain accessible and carry out practical projects, if elected.

Hon. FUBARA MACAULEY FUBARA, the NRM candidate for the Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, has promised to embark on practical development and tackle issues that directly affect the everyday lives of the people, if elected.

Hon Fubara made the promise when he visited the good people of Ikuru Town in Andoni Local Government Area, on Sunday, 23rd August, 2026, as part of his ongoing door-to-door campaign and grassroots engagement.

The candidate and his team were warmly received at the Otu-Nshit Opuwari Hall by the CDC Chairman and members of the CDC Committee, the Youth President and members of the youth body, alongside other distinguished members of the community.

Addressing the community, Hon. Fubara promised to champion improved access to quality healthcare, support better educational opportunities for children and young people, promote youth empowerment, skills development, and work toward attracting meaningful developmental projects to the constituency.

He also emphasized that he will listen to the people and remain accessible, noting that effective representation must begin with understanding the needs of the communities and maintaining regular contact with the people.

“I will not promise you heaven and earth just because I want your votes. But I can boldly tell you that I am not one of those people who become unreachable after being elected. I will not hide behind the title of ‘Honourable’ and stop taking your calls. I want to remain your representative and your voice.”

Earlier, Dr Sampson Ikuru who spoke on behalf of the Ikuru community, warmly welcomed Hon. Fubara and his team to the community. He commended the candidate for coming directly to the people and urged him to remain humble and accessible, unlike some political leaders they had encountered in the past.

Dr. Sampson Ikuru further expressed the community's confidence in Hon. Fubara, pledging their support and promising that the people of Ikuru would give him their votes. He, however, appealed to the candidate to remember the community and remain connected to the people after winning the election.

The visit ended on a positive note, with community leaders, youths and residents expressing their appreciation for Hon. Fubara's decision to personally visit Ikuru Town and engage directly with the people.

The Ikuru visit further underscores Hon. Fubara Macaulay Fubara's commitment to grassroots engagement, people-oriented representation and a campaign that puts the people first.
