In a major boost to human capital development and youth excellence, the Rivers State Government has doled out a total cash reward of ₦20 million to ten indigenes who clinched the prestigious National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Presidential Honours Award.
The cash recognition was announced during a special presentation ceremony in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, July 8. Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who was represented at the event by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Dagogo Wokoma, lauded the recipients for flying the state's flag high through their exceptional discipline, dedication, and selfless service during their service year.

Governor Fubara emphasized that the substantial reward underscores his administration's unwavering commitment to empowering young people and promoting excellence across all spheres.
