He thanked the Senator and the security agencies for the quick response including the deployment of armed police officers to the two affected communities.

While speaking to the victims of the crisis, the representative of the Distinguished Senator, Dr. Okagua assured them that the Distinguished  Senator is currently footing the hospital bills of those injured, provided assistance to the elderly man who was released by the kidnappers, and has promised to assist the families impacted by the crisis.

He reiterated that the Distinguished Senator has advised them not to retaliate but follow the path of peace, as she is pulling all the stops to sustain the peace enjoyed before the crisis ensued.

The DCO while speaking, urged the indigenes to remain law abiding, as the Distinguished Senator and the security agencies are determined to get to the root of the crisis and restore peace to Emughan clan.
