Governor Fubara Inaugurates Ahoada Girls' School, Vows to Complete Road Project

 


Ahoada, Rivers State - Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has inaugurated a new Government Girls' Secondary School in Ahoada, highlighting the government's commitment to education and women's empowerment.


During the inauguration ceremony, the Governor emphasized the significance of girls' education in shaping the future of the nation. He stated, "The quality of the girl-child is paramount, as it directly impacts the nation's future."


Governor Fubara also addressed the ongoing road project in the area, assuring residents that the remaining one kilometer and bridge will be completed. He expressed disappointment with the original contractor's lack of commitment and vowed to re-award the project to ensure its timely completion.

The Governor also acknowledged the support of traditional rulers and community leaders, particularly Eze Ekpeye, who faced persecution for their loyalty to the government. He assured them that their sacrifices would be rewarded, and their requests for recognition would be granted.



Governor Fubara concluded by urging the people of Ahoada to remain peaceful and focused on progress. He reiterated the government's commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and social services to the people of Rivers State.
