Great news for our local talent! In a bid to bridge the skills gap and boost local capacity, the National Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with Mimshack Swift, has officially kicked off an intensive training program for 50 youths here in Port Harcourt.

This initiative is designed to equip our young people with market-ready skills, fostering self-reliance and boosting employability in today’s competitive landscape.

Focusing on Practical Impact

The program aims to move beyond theory, providing participants with hands-on experience in high-demand technical and vocational fields. By focusing on practical application, the organizers hope to empower these 50 individuals to not only seek employment but to eventually create opportunities themselves.

Why This Matters for Port Harcourt

Building Local Capacity: With NCDMB's involvement, this training aligns with broader national efforts to increase local participation in key industries.

Economic Resilience: Equipping our youth with relevant, modern skills is one of the most effective ways to drive local economic growth and reduce unemployment.
