In a heartfelt celebration of hard work and dedication, the Rivers State Government has officially honored ten of our own who distinguished themselves during their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year.
Governor Siminalayi Fubara, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Dagogo Wokoma, announced a total cash reward of N20 million for the ten indigenes who were recipients of the prestigious NYSC Presidential Honours Award.

Rivers State NYSC Coordinator, Moses Oleghe, praised the Governor’s "generous gesture," noting that such support significantly boosts the morale of corps members and strengthens the collaborative bond between the NYSC and the state government.
Gideon Nwaokugha, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed deep gratitude to the state government and pledged that they would continue to uphold the values of integrity, excellence, and patriotism in their future endeavors.
